Welcome to the 2003 Boston Truck Collective! Our mission is simple - to provide round trip transportation for artwork, projects, bikes, and supplies from Boston to Black Rock City! This is a community driven, not for profit project, where our goal is to get your stuff to the playa and back on time and in one piece, and break even.

Updated technical Details

Container Details:

  • 48' container and chassis.
  • Dimensions: Length 47' 6 1/2" x Width 8' 2 1/2" x Height 8' 11"
  • Volume: 3480 Cubic Feet of space.
  • Weight Limit: 44,000lb

Schedule
The truck schedule has been finalized, see here[removed]. We will be loading much earlier than the previous two years. The container and chassis will be delivered to the loading area on August 8, and the majority of the loading will happen on August 10Th. On August 11Th, the container will begin the journey west. In order to ensure that there is enough time, we are allowing 10 travel days.

  • $175 for a share(will cost less if we raise more funds and people make donations).
  • ~100 cubic feet.
  • $75 to only ship a bicycle.
  • Container packed on August 10th.
  • Container arrives in BRC on August 23.
  • Container is packed and departs BRC on September 2.
  • We don't ship people! Only supplies, materials, art, projects, bikes, etc.
